Miami Beach Implements Curfew in Response to Spring Break Violence

Miami Beach has implemented a curfew in response to a series of violent incidents that occurred during spring break.

The curfew requires all businesses in the city's entertainment district to close by 8 p.m., with all traffic in the area shut down from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The measures were implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the instances of violence, which included several shootings resulting in injuries and arrests. The curfew is expected to remain in place until at least April 12th and may be extended if necessary.

This move comes as many cities across the US are grappling with similar issues as spring break crowds descend upon them.

While some may view the curfew as an inconvenience, it is ultimately necessary to protect the safety and well-being of both residents and visitors during this time.
