John Wick 4 Almost Four Hours Long: Director Reveals Cut Scenes for Future Spin-offs

The fourth installment of the John Wick franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4, was originally planned to be almost four hours long.

The movie's director, Chad Stahelski, revealed that he had written a lengthy script with a lot of "world-building," but ultimately had to cut it down to a more manageable length for audiences.

Stahelski also mentioned that some of the deleted scenes might appear in future John Wick projects, such as spin-off series or video games.

Despite the necessary cuts, Stahelski said that he was satisfied with the final product and believed that fans of the franchise would enjoy it.

The movie is set to feature new cast members, including Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada, and is expected to pick up where the third movie left off, with John Wick on the run from the High Table after breaking their rules.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is scheduled to be released in May 2022.
